Chocolate Mint Smoothie bowl for a delicious plant based and gluten free breakfast
This chocolate mint smoothie bowl is not only full of so much nourishment it is also amazingly delicious! Filling and satisfying I have been so obsessed with this smoothie recipe.
To get the chocolate mint flavour I used fresh mint leaves and cacao nibs!
This recipe contains so much goodness, here’s the breakdown:
Mint Leaves– Aids digestion to decrease bloating. Anti inflammatory to keep you body healthy and your skin glowing
Spinach – Lots of fibre and plan based protein. excellent source of vitamin K, vitamin A, vitamin C and folic acid as well as being a good source of manganese, magnesium, iron and vitamin B2
Apple– Rich in flavonoids and vitamin C, to help the body get rid of free chemicals and to keep cells healthy. Vitamin C helps the body to make collagen, which reduces the signs of ageing.
Banana– Rich in vitamins such as B3, B5, B6 and vitamin C and lots of fibre, magnesium and potassium.
Cacao Nibs– Polyphenol antioxidants contained in cacao
Recipe- Chocolate Mint Smoothie bowl for a delicious plant based and gluten free breakfast
- 1.5 cups spinach
- 1 banana – peeled and frozen
- 1 green apple
- 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
- 1 tbsp cacao nibs
- 1 cup water
- Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth, top with your favourite toppings
