My Dessert Island Favourite Beauty Products

My Dessert Island Favourite Beauty ProductsToday I am sharing a list of my current Dessert Island beauty favourites. I use most of these everyday and I’m obsessed. Let me know your favourite beauty products below, I love hearing about new products!

These beauty products are the ones I cannot live without and  would choose if ever stranded on a dessert Island!

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo+

This is a product I have been using  for years, every morning before applying my face moisturiser. It’s light and sinks into the skin really quickly leaving it soft but not oily. It helps at reducing breakups and clearing up existing ones. It also helps minimise the appearance of pores.

Aztec Secret Indian Healing Facial Clay

This is another product I have been using for years and always repurchase. This is the best deep cleansing product I have ever used! It cleans the pores out so prevents breakouts.  You can really feel this working as it drys on your face. I wouldn’t recommend using straight before a night out as it can cause temporary redness. I mix mine with apple cider vinegar and I try to use this mask once a week.

Peter Thomas Roth Max Complexion Correction Pads

This is a new addition to my favourite beauty products, but I am already hooked! I have tried lots of acid toners but this is the best one by far. It exfoliates the top level of the skin keeping it smooth and clear. Helps prevent breakouts and keeps the pores clear. I use every other night without any other products.

ArtNaturals Organic Jojoba Oil, 100% Pure Virgin Cold Pressed

Jojoba Oil has so many uses and the best part is that essential oils are completely natural with no nasties! I use this daily on the ends of my hair to keep them soft and moisturised and to prevent breakages. I have very fine hair, but Jojoba oil doesn’t weigh it down or cause oiliness. Occasionally I will also use this on my face overnight when I need a bit more hydration. Finally every night before I go to sleep I rub some into my lips, this makes them incredibly soft. I love the Art Naturals Jojoba Oil as it it reasonably priced for the quality and it is organic too. When choosing Jojoba make sure you get one that is virgin and cold pressed as these are the most effective.

Rosehip Oil – 100% Pure – 60ml

Rose hip oil again is completely natural and really lovely to use.  This brand is my favourite one I have  tried and I think at £5.25 this is a complete bargain. A little goes a long way and it last forever. I use this as my night time under eye treatment. This is the only night eye treatment I use and have found it keeps the area hydrated so is  this is also great at preventing wrinkles.

InstaNatural Retinol Serum

This is an all purpose serum. Containing lots of amazing ingredients like Vitamin C, Hyaluronic Acid, Niacinamide & Organic Argan Oil. I use this every morning under my moisturiser and before the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo+. This helps keep the skin, wrinkle, free, bright and clear. I’ve noticed improvement in my redness and dark spots since I started using this.

I hope you enjoyed hearing about my favourite beauty products and found this useful.

I love La Roche Posay but I’ve never tried this product – I’ll have to take a trip to Boots!
