Hi Everyone, I hope you’ve all had an amazing week so far! As promised here are some photos from the day I spent in Girona in August. This is the last in the series from my summer holiday pictures. You can see the Barcelona pictures here and the Lloret De mar pictures here.
This was the first time we visited Girona which was just a short bus journey away from Lloret De Mar. Girona is the most charming little city and I wish we hadn’t left it to our last days to visit as one day didn’t seem like long enough!
Girona immediately captured by heart with it’s beautiful architecture. Girona’s breathtaking riverfront quickly captivated me, its red and yellow buildings nicely pairing with the Catalan flags that adorn the region.
Girona, is bright and airy, clean, and relaxed. Girona doesn’t make tourists the centre of it’s city making it feel very authentic.
Loved the detail of these walls.
Girona has a main square with restaurants dotted all around and a lively bustling atmosphere. The restaurants offer a great selection of food choices that are all great quality and good value for money.
Starter’s from our lunch.
My breakfast on the way, my kind of fast food!
I hope you enjoyed these pictures, wheres your favourite city?
