I have been getting a lot of messages asking me for advice on drinking enough water throughout the way. My favourite way is drinking fruit infused water. It’s so delicious and it also contains a lot more vitamins and flavour then typical water. When you make water delicious you are so much more likely to drink more of it.

Why is water so important?

Our bodies are made up of around 60 to 70 percent water. Water is needed so for many functions in the body including the transporting nutrients, hormones and flushing out toxins from the body. If you become dehydrated then this can even result in a slower metabolism. If you needed any more convincing then water also has so many beauty benefits. Including- healthier hair, clearer skin, stronger nails, leaner physic, better mood.

So today I am going to share my favourite fruit infused water combinations with you.

I either make it on the spot and enjoy right away, or I sometimes I like to leave it in the fridge for a couple of hours / overnight to let the fruit saturate longer. Either way, it always tastes and smells really nice.

I used the Absolute Infuser Fruit Infusion Water Bottle to make mine. I love this bottle as it is super easy to use and it’s much more convenient when on the go then using other water bottles or mason jars.

It’s really lightweight too so I think it’s perfect for taking with you to the gym or work. I took this with me when I was out and about a few times and it is totally leak free so you can carry in your bag with no worries.

Another great feature is that is has a rubber non slip grip to prevent you from dropping it, which is great when you need a sip in the middle of a workout! I also love that it can hold just under 1 litre of water which is almost half of what you need each day making it super simple to meet your daily water quota.

 Citrus Fruit Infused Water
This is an amazing one to have first thing in the morning. In fact I already wrote a post talking about my I start my day with citrus water whenever I can. That post is here if you want to take a look.
Basically Citrus fruits can improve digestion by removing toxins from the body, this cleanses the liver and helps keep your skin clear. It also helps assists with bloating. Here I used lemons, limes and oranges, grapefruit is also amazing too.

    I love flavored water! When I went to the bahamas they had pitchers of fruit infused water all over the resort and I have been hooked ever since.
