My Favourite Healthy Bagel Toppings for a delicious snack, lunch or dessert. 

The blog post where I shared my favourite healthy sweet bagel toppings was one of my most popular! So I thought I would share a few more healthy bagel toppings that I love including some savoury options.

I love bagels as they are just so delicious, versatile and satisfying. They make the perfect little snack, breakfast, dessert or lunch. I use wholemeal gluten free bagels, but any will work.

These toppings will also taste amazing on toast, rice cake or oatcakes.

1. Hummus, Cherry Tomato, and Basil 

One of my favourite combinations. I use my homegrown basil and it tastes amazing! Basil is anti inflammatory and antibacterial. Whilst cherry tomatoes provide vitamin c and the hummus adds some protein.

2. Almond Butter, Pomegranate and Coconut Flakes

I wasn’t sure about combining pomegranate with almond butter but it tastes amazing! You get a protein hit from the almond butter, whilst pomegranate is high in anti oxidants, vitamin c and aids digestions.

3. Mashed Avocado Chilli Flakes and Coriander

My favourite savoury topping ever! Simple but delicious and so good for you. Avocados are high in healthy fats to keep you full and satisfied. Coriander is rich in manganese, iron and magnesium.

4. Blackberry, Coconut Yoghurt and Flaked Almonds

Love this one when I want something sweet but light. You can add a drizzle of maple syrup too! Blackberries are full of vitamins and minerals like C, K, and manganese.

 5. Hummus, Radish and Cucumber

Crunchy and refreshing! Radish adds a peppery kick and a vitamin c boost! Hummus adds protein and cucumber helps the body flush out toxins.

 6. Banana, Walnut, Cinnamon and Raisin

This is my favourite one when I feeling like something sweet, tastes just like banana bread! Walnuts are rich in anti-inflammatory omega-3. Cinnamon is anti inflammatory and contains high levels of antioxidants.

    These all look so yummy! I love the sound of Banana, Walnut, Cinnamon and Raisin. I adore walnuts and cinnamon so I will love it! Will have to give it a go!
