My Favourite Healthy Breakfast Toppings

Happy Wednesday everyone! Hope you have all had a great start to the week so far. Recently I have been loving adding lots of  healthy toppings to my breakfast. They make it extra yummy and they are all super nourishing for the body and skin.

I usually have porridge every morning, but have recently been enjoying smoothie bowls with lots of delicious toppings to make it more filling and satisfying. Smoothie bowl are great well to get a dose of fruit and greens first thing in the morning. When I consistently have smoothies I notice such a big difference in my skin!

Today I thought it would be fun to share my favourite toppings and all there health and beauty benefits too.

Goji Berries

Coconut Flakes

Nutribomz

I discovered Nutri-Bomz this month and have been loving adding them to my breakfast. They are a subscription service that send a variety of healthy treats right to your door. I signed up to receive a box every two weeks and have loved everything so far. All the snacks are raw without any of the ‘bad stuff’. They contain healthy versions of delicious things such as carrot cake, brownie and my favourite… Bakewell tart. They are perfect for snacking on throughout the day too.

They are all gluten free and have choices that are vegan, dairy free, high fibre, high protein and paleo.

Cereal/Granola

I like to make my own granola, it’s so easy and you can full control on what goes into it. I have linked my recipes below. With oats as the base this makes breakfast filling and energising.

I recently been loving slicing up Nakd bars and adding them to my breakfast and it’s so delicious! My favourite is the new lemon drizzle flavour. Nakd bars are made from simple ingredients and give you a dose of protein and lot’s of energy.

  • Contains  Iron, Magnesium, Copper and Manganese.
