My Favourite Healthy Sweet Bagel Toppings for a healthy snack, lunch or breakfast.
Recently I have been bagel obsessed. They are just so delicious, versatile and satisfying. They make the perfect little snack or lunch. Therefore I thought it would be fun to share the healthy ways I like to top mine when I feel like something sweet.
Sweet bagels taste just like dessert and satisfy all my sugar cravings. Like I already mentioned I’m totally obsessed! I opt for wholemeal gluten free bagels.
These toppings will also taste amazing on toast, rice cake or oatcakes. I hope you enjoy this post and find some healthy snack inspiration!
Chocolate sauce, coconut flakes and strawberries
I make a homemade chocolate sauce by whisking together some maple syrup, cacao powder and a bit of almond milk until I reach the consistency I like. Chocolate and strawberries are just heavenly together and coconut flakes add a little bit of crunch.
Yoghurt, coconut flakes and blueberries
I use coyo coconut yogurt and it goes perfectly with blueberries. I love this one in the summer.
Peanut Butter and Banana
This is such a classic combination, but it never disappoints!! I use an all natural peanut butter without any added oils.
Almond butter, Granola and Cacao nibs
Chocolate Sauce with goji berries and bee pollen
Chocolate sauce made the same way as above with goji berries and bee pollen.
Yoghurt, Raspberries and Poppy Seeds
My favourite one, probably because I adore raspberries! Taste just like dessert.
