Living a full, happy, beautiful life is something I have always been passionate about. I have found that by being positive, organised and motivated it makes it so much easier for me to reach my goals and to be happy long term.
I thought it would be fun to share some of the ways I ensure I stay happy and feeling inspired, by creating a life I love.
I really hope you enjoy this post and I would love to hear your thoughts on the topics discussed or feel free to let me know if you have any other ideas for future posts.
List of Goals
I like to list all the goals I want to achieve weekly, yearly and even in a lifetime. I find this keeps me motivated and focused on what I want. I like to add to this list all the time as I gain new interests and passions.
This helps to keep me looking to the future instead of dwelling on the past. I like to keep the list nearby to me so I can easily refer back to it, when I need a little boost. Especially if I am having a bad day, just looking at the list can re-motivate me and remind me of what’s important.
It’s so easy to constantly compare our lives to others and wish that we had what they do. Comparing ourselves to others is toxic and brings you no closer to the things you want. Practising gratitude and counting the blessings we already have is the simplest and easiest way to be happy right now. I find it so grounding and calming to be thankful for what I already have and being proud of the things I have already achieved.
Gratitude helps us realise what we have, when you practice this and become grateful it makes you less likely to complain, meaning you are more positive and motivated to go and get what you want out of life.
Here are some simple ways to practice gratitude:
- Saying thank you even for the smallest of favours
- Write a list of all the things you are grateful for
- Remember there are others who don’t have all the things you do
- Appreciate your loved ones and do something that will make them smile
I love to keep everything organised, tidy and clean. Whether it’s my apartment, my makeup or my wardrobe. When everything is organised in my living space I find it so much easier to keep other areas in my life organised.
Always stay positive and remember that whatever your going through will pass. You can wake up every day and choose happiness.
“The mind is everything. What you think, you become.”
Above is my recipe for Vegetable Buckwheat Risotto.
Exercise, eat right and take care of yourself.
“If you don’t take care of your body, where are you going to live?”
I feel so much better physically and mentally when I really make the effort to eat right, drink enough water, rest and relax. It gives me so much energy and helps me stay positive and happy. When I do take care of my health I get sick less and feel like I can achieve so much more. You can start by making little changes to your overall health, that will make you feel amazing long term.
At the end of the day, this is your life and it’s about keeping focused and doing what makes you happy. I think if everyone focused a little more on the simple things in life they enjoy and the things going right for them, then the world as a whole would be happier and calmer. When you do the things you love to do, it just makes you glow and radiate so much positive energy to everything else you do, it’s a ripple effect!
I hope you have all enjoyed my post and found it inspiring.
