This Spiced Sweet Potato Bread is a revelation, full of flavour and nourishment you will not be able to stop at one slice!
Although it’s summer in the UK the last few days have been pretty cold. They left me craving something comforting and satisfying. So I decided to try something new… adding sweet potato into a spiced bread.
I was amazed by the results. The bread was moist, soft and so flavourful! More like a cake then a bread. If you like carrot cake, pumpkin flavoured cakes or any of the typical Autumn flavours you will love this! There’s something so comforting and warming about the blend of spices used in this bread. It feels heavy and stodgy without all the calories, sugar and fat.
This healthy recipe is simple to make in one bowl with no need for a mixer. Plus the smell when baking is heavenly, smells like Autumn!
Delicious warm or cold. I also made a sauce by whisking maple syrup and almond butter which tasted perfect spread over the bread when still warm.
Sweet potato is full of beatifying vitamins and fibre. This feel good healthy dessert will make you glow!
Plus all the ingredients are completely natural and nourishing so you can enjoy guilt free.
