Riding House Cafe is a modern all day brasserie tucked behind Oxford Circus in the West End of London. I heard so many good things about it, so when I was invited to try out the new vegetarian menu, I knew I was in for a treat.
I loved the decor of the place, no expense spared or detailed overlooked. Spacious and airy, I think it is the perfect place for cocktails after work.
I chose a starter, main and dessert from the vegetarian menu, whereas Marius chose from the usual menu.
For starter I went for the smoked aubergine and flatbread, Marius chose the sriracha chicken wings with blue cheese sauce. Both were amazing and the perfect portion size.
For mains, I ordered the fried broccoli and onion dumplings with beetroot and Marius chose the beef wellington. I had never tried veggie dumpling before and they were amazing. Marius really enjoyed his too.
The dessert were the highlight of the night, I chose the Plum Frangipane Tart and Marius the flourless chocolate cake. Both were absolutely epic and although we were both full by this point, we managed to finish them as they were so delicious!
The Riding House Cafe has the most chilled out lovely vibes but there’s a really nice, luxe vibe to the restaurant. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the menu is full of choices.
