This simple hummus recipe only takes five minutes to make! Packed full of flavour, nutrition and so versatile!
Who doesn’t love the humble hummus? I am seriously obsessed and have been since I first tried it. Hummus is so versatile, I enjoy it with salads, use it as a dip, stir it into pasta and spread it onto wraps with falafel, so yummy! My favourite way to enjoy currently is pictured above, with a large bowl of sweet potato wedges. I also usually take a small tub to work and dip with vegetable crudites as a healthy snack to keep me going through the afternoon.
I have tried many variations and flavours but this simple hummus recipe is my favourite! With spicy cumin, zesty lemon and garlic this simple hummus recipe is packed full of taste. This is super healthy too, full of protein and fibre. Vegan, gluten free and full of plant based protein.
I brought hummus for years but after seeing how easy this was to make at home I always do it myself. It’s really handy to have a basic chickpea hummus recipe on hand as it can be used so many ways! All you need is to put the ingredients in a blender and voila, creamy delicious hummus is made.
I make a big batch of this every Sunday and it gets enjoyed throughout the week.
