Spiced Cinnamon Raisin Banana Bread. Healthy, moist, satisfying, spiced with autumn flavours and studded with raisins.
When it comes to anything sweet, I’m the first in line. I have the sweetest of teeth and I just don’t want to go without! Instead of eating something unhealthy and grabbing the first thing I see for my sweet fix, I like to have fun in the kitchen and make my own.
Then I can enjoy it guilt free knowing it contains no chemicals or artificial flavouring, and made from good nourishing ingredients so I am actually doing my body some good!
Today I am sharing a new sweet banana bread recipe… spiced cinnamon raisin. I love this flavour combination, so yummy! Spiced with autumn flavours, this makes your kitchen smell amazing. This cinnamon raisin banana bread has had a healthy makeover. Made, with, banana, oats and eggs, this is a perfect mix of healthy fats, slow released carbs and protein! Gluten free and can be made vegan by subbing the eggs for flax eggs. I have tried both ways and they both came out perfect.
Even though this is quick and simple to make, I think this is perfect for entertaining. Also makes a delicious breakfast, afternoon snack or for those tea and cake moments.
Tastes great on it’s own, but I like to toast mine and top with nut butter and fresh fruit, so good!
I really hope you enjoyed this spiced cinnamon raisin bread recipe, if you make it please share your pictures with me on social media, it makes my day 🙂
