Spiced Roasted Chickpeas Recipe for Delicious and Healthy Snacking
I just made the most addictive snack ever… Crispy Spicy Roasted Chickpeas! They are my new obsession. These are perfectly spicy, crunchy and of course so delicious.
The best part is they are high in fibre, high in protein, low in fat and couldn’t be easier to make! Simply mix the chickpeas with olive oil and spices, then roast in the oven.
They are really so versatile. Not only do they taste amazing on their own for healthy snacking, that will keep you full and energised. You can also add to salads and pasta dishes. They are the perfect substitute for salty and crunchy, not so healthy snacks.

This recipe is vegan, gluten free and dairy free.
Recipe – Spiced Roasted Chickpeas for Healthy + Delicious Snacking
- 2 cups cooked chickpeas,
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- ¼ teaspoon sea salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¾ teaspoon chili flakes
- ¼ teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin
- Preheat oven to 390f/200c.
- Ensure the chickpeas are completely dry
- Then put in a bowl with other other ingredients and mix together until the chickpeas are even coated
- Bake for 25 minutes, giving them a stir half way through
