I have been loving having this smoothie for breakfast every day recently.The flavor combination and consistency is on point and the healthy fats and nutrients in this bowl leave me full and satisfied in the best way possible.

Super Energising Green Smoothie Recipe

I made this smoothie using Greenade, which is a powder full of amazing ingredients that you can add to smoothies or even just mix with water for a quick healthy boost of energy. It is surprisingly delicious despite being full of lots of greens!

Greenade is all organic, gluten and soy free and suitable for vegans.

Greenade contains:

Maca Powder

I have already spoken about how much I love Maca and I take it daily. It is full of vitamins, minerals, enzymes and amino acids. It has been known to increase energy and help you remain clam and less prone to stress and anxiety. As it also assists in balancing hormones, maca is also great for your skin too.

Wheat Grass Powder

Wheat Grass is so amazing for you as it contains every single mineral. It is also rich in vitamins A, B-complex, C, E, l, K. High in protein, and contains 17 amino acids.

 Barley Grass Powder

Barley is rich in fibre, enzymes, amino acids, antioxidants and vitamins.


Is often called the most nutrient dense food on the planet. It is highly anti-inflammatory and helps the body detox and prevents colds and flu.

Vitamin B Complex

Promote healthy hair, skin and nails, by counteracting damage caused by free-radicals. Also boost energy and concentration levels.

 Amino Acids

Are building blocks for protein and boost your immune system.


 Provides slow release energy to help prevent fatigue and improve concentration levels.

Citric Acid

Contains antioxidants and helps the body absorb vitamins and minerals.
All these ingredients work together to provide an instant boost energy to help improve your productivity levels. As I mentioned earlier you can use this in things likes smoothies or even take it just with water. I think this would be a perfect more nourishing alternative for coffee and other energy drinks.
After a few days of taking Greenade consistently, I noticed a massive increase in my energy levels and I was able to concentrate for much longer periods of times without reaching for a sugary snack mid morning or afternoon.
 I had been feeling a bit run down after lots of travel and working long hours recently and this gave me a much needed pick me up. An added benefit is that I noticed my skin my was glowing and clear. I haven’t changed any thing else in my routine so I am pretty sure that it’s due to all the goodness that Greenade contains.

Recipe- Super Energising Green Smoothie Recipe
  • ½ avocado
  • 1 cup Spinach
  • ¼ cup almond milk
  • 1 scoop Greenade
  • 1 frozen banana

Topping ideas:

  • Dark Chocolate
  • Coconut flakes
  • Granola
  • Cacao nibs
  • Nut butter
  • Chia seeds
  1. Simply add all ingredients to your blender and blend until creamy
  2. Add your desired topping and enjoy.
