Fudgy KitKat Brownies

Deliciously thick, rich and fudgy chocolate brownies that are stuffed with My Protein Break Bars!

I used My Protein Break Bars to make mine. I love these for when the chocolate cravings hit, they contain more then double the amount of protein and up to 90% less sugar then supermarket alternatives.

These brownies are really easy to make with only nine ingredients needed.

Fudgy KitKat Brownies

Recipe- Fudgy KitKat Brownies


  • 140g coconut oil
  • 1 and 1/2 cups granulated sugar (I used coconut)
  • 3/4 cup  cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 chia eggs (normal eggs will work)
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup (60g) buckwheat flour
  • 1/2 cup (90g) chocolate chips
  • 10 2-finger bars, 2 bars crushed, 8 left whole


  1. Preheat the oven to 180C/350F/Gas 4. Line an 8×8-inch square baking pan with foil or parchment paper, and set aside.
  2. Place the coconut oil, sugar, cocoa powder, and salt into a microwave-safe bowl, and heat for 1 minute. Stir well, then microwave for another minute. The mixture should very warm to the touch.
  3. Add the chia eggs and vanilla, and mix well until combined.
  4. Mix in the flour until fully combined, then gently fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Spoon half of the batter into the prepared pan. Place the whole KitKat bars on top, then spoon the remaining batter over the KitKats, spreading out evenly. Sprinkle with the crushed KitKat bars.
  6. Bake for 35 – 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out almost clean.
  7. Allow to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack before cutting into squares and enjoying.
