As you probably know if you follow me on Instagram, I recently spent a week in Barcelona. I wasn’t sure how many vegan options there would be. However I was blown away by the amount of gluten free patisseries, bakeries, cafes and restaurants. Here’s my vegan guide to Barcelona!
Since so many of you guys asked where I went and what I got up to, here’s a guide of 20 of the best places for vegan in Barcelona 2019.
Chok is a small bakery with labelled vegan options, such as chocolate filled doughnut plus muffins and cookies. Highly recommend the doughnuts!
2. Petit Brot – 10 Carrer del Dr. Dou
If you’re after a fix of healthy, raw vegan food in Barcelona then you absolutely must go to Petit Brot. This vegan restaurant in Barcelona is all plant-based and raw.
3. Vacka– 4 Carrer de Sèneca Hidden in a quiet side street in Gracia, Vacka serves vegan burgers, gluten-free waffles and more, plus raw options. It also has an amazing juice menu!
4. Quinoa– 203 Travessera de Gràcia
Vegan burgers, sandwiches and wraps made with the freshest of ingredients, served alongside fresh juices in the cutest little bar
5. Cat Bar – 17, Boria
One of the most popular vegan places in the city and a real favourite for new and returning tourists alike, there are, fantastic burgers and of course a cat-theme running throughout.
6. Veggie Garden – Dels Angels – 3, Carrrer Dels Angels
Asian-inspired restaurants with lots of Indian and Nepalese style dishes. All ingredients are organic too.
7. El Café Blueproject – 57, Carrer Princesa
An artistic spot and the perfect place for both raw and cooked vegan food in a great atmosphere.
8. Bar Celoneta Sangria – 70, Calle Sevilla
Organic, vegan and raw food, right by the beach. Treat yourself to ‘Paella Thursday’ and sangria!
9. Gopal Vegan Deli – 42, Carrer Escudellers
Grab a bit to eat in the form of tortillas, cake, vegan cheese and seasonal fresh juices.
10. La Trocadero – 269, Calle Marina
It’s vegan, and it’s fast food! Balance out your hot dog or burger with a freshly squeezed juice!
11. Vegetart Cuina Vegana – 138, Carrer del Torrent de l’Olla
A lovely traditional restaurant full of delicious baked goods and homemade meals. The ideal spot for Catalan food!
12. Frolis – 123, Aragó
A vegan bakery with sweet treats galore! My favourite place in Barcelona for a sweet treat.
13. Picnic– 1 Carrer De ComerceA beautiful cafe with an extensive menu. We love their brunch menu, serving up incredible vegan pancakes and so much more.
14. Flax and Kale – 74 Carrer dels Tallers
This is my favourite place to eat in Barcelona, it has the most beautiful decor and lots of choice to choose from.
15. Gelaaati! di Marco – El Barri Gòtic
Vegan ice cream with vegan cones! The coconut ice cream is my favourite!
16. La Besnéta-37 –Carrer de Torrijos
Amazing vegan bakery. The red velvet cake is amazing! The also offer brownies and cookies!
17. Brunch and Cake – 19 Carrer d’Enric Granados
Serves the most instagramable and delicious food! From brunch to cupcakes, the decor is gorgeous too!
18. CroisSants-37 Carrer de Sants
A lovely bakery that offers a vegan menu with lots of choice. The vegan croissant are amazing!
19. Bio Bento –34 Carrer d’Ermengarda
Provides healthy meals, bento, and snacks. From soups, salads and quinoa with veggies. You can eat-in or take away
20. Veggie Garden –Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes
This is a great spot for lunch and offers loads of different dishes. They offer warm dishes, salads, tapas and desserts!
