 Emma Hardie Skincare Favourites: Review

The mornings are getting lighter and the days are getting warmer which means summer is well and truly on it’s way. (Yayy!!) Summer is my favourite season by far! For me summer is the time where, I like to either go barefaced or wear minimal lightweight makeup. Therefore glowing clear skin is a must.

I have recently been trying out some Emma Hardie Skin Care products that have been helping to get my skin summer ready and today I wanted to share with you my favourites that I have been loving.

Emma Hardie Amazing Face Review

Most of you would have already heard of and tried the cult classic Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm. I have to admit that I only tried it for myself very recently, but I totally get what the hype is about.

The cleansing balm contains moringa seed extract, wild sea fennel and vitamin E to minimize the appearance of pores. Orange, Neroli and Mandarin extracts to rejuvenate and Jasmine, Cedarwood and Rose to help hydrate dry or dull skin. It’s also suitable for sensitive and reactive skin.

I absolutely adore the smell of the cleanser, it’s really subtle and smells fresh and natural. It’s perfect for a first cleanse, in the morning or evening or for a facial massage. The texture of the balm is smooth and velvety. It’s easy to move around your face and work into your skin and you do not even have to wet your hands or face before using it. Although you can add few drops of water for a more creamier texture, however I prefer the silky texture of the balm.

The balm breaks down all traces of makeup and is safe to use on eyes too. It leaves the skin silky smooth, soft and hydrated and literally melts any makeup right off my face!! It’s a gentle way to deep clean my skin without it feeling stripped and dry. Instead it feels soft, hydrated and surprisingly plump.

Each tub comes with it’s own cleansing cloth. A lovely soft muslin on one side to gently exfoliate the skin and what I use to take off my makeup. Then a microfibre side for buffing and polishing at the end of the second cleanse. This has become a staple in my cleansing routine and I cannot imagine taking off my makeup without it. You can actually buy the cloth on it’s own in packs of three here.

Since using the Emma Hardie cleanser, I have noticed a difference in the overall appearance of my skin. As someone with combination skin, it has definitely helped to balance it out, the dry patches aren’t as dry and the oily patches aren’t as oily. My skin is a lot more hydrated and looks much more healthy and it makes the perfect base for he rest of my skin care routine.

It’s a really luxurious, silky smooth, velvety balm that makes cleansing my skin something I look forward to rather at the end of each day.  It it a bit more on the pricey side for cleanser, but the Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm lasts a really long time and a little goes a long way.

Emma Hardie Plump and Glow Hydrating Facial Mist Review

Facial mists have exploded in popularity over the past few years in the beauty market but not everyone really knows whether they need to use them or not and how exactly they can benefit our skin.

Emma describes the Plump and Glow Hydrating Facial Mist as ‘An energising, hydrating and radiance facial treatment that smooths away fine lines, tightens pores and gives the complexion an instant boost’ It’s packed full of amazing ingredients such as Aloe Vera, Wild Watermelon and Hyaluronic Acid that all help rejuvenate the skin, moisturise and balance out any redness or irritation, which makes it perfect for people with sensitive skin. The scent is lovely, really soothing and subtle.

It spritzes enough product to finely and evenly coat the whole face and décolletage and it is very calming and refreshing on the skin. As it is very fine you won’t feel drenched after application. It makes the skin look dewy and glowing without looking shiny. It’s perfect to use as the last step of moisturising before applying your other skin care products or it can be sprayed over an already made up face throughout the day, to refresh whilst leaving a matte finish.

Emma Hardie Moringa Renewal Treatment Mask Review

Emma Hardie describes the Moringa Renewal Treatment Mask as an instant skin drench for stressed, tired skin. It’s designed to hydrate the skin and also boosts firmness and radiance. You can either use it the same way you would a traditional mask- apply a generous layer, leave for 15 minutes and wash off. Or you can use it as an overnight treatment. It’s very cooling when applied and is really calming and soothing on the skin.

This mask contains Hyaluronic Acid which not only helps to firm but hydrate the skin, Moringa Seed Oil which leaves the skin feeling more vibrant and plump. The mask also contains Red Algae which helps to reduce the appearance of pigmentation spots and leaves the skin more luminous and even. An Amino acid derivative helps to brightens the skin and improve clarity by evening out the complexion.

This is a mask I reach for when I feel like my skin looks dull and lacklustre. I like to leave it on overnight the night before a special occasion and wake up to glowing and plump skin. I feel like it has helped my skin look more vibrant and has definitely reduced pigmentation which is something I struggle with.
