I’m sure your know that chia is a super food. Full of omega fatty acids, antioxidants, minerals, calcuim, protein, vitamins and fibre. Plus it’s low calories but also very satisfying.
Chia seeds are now a staple in my cupboards and I use them for whipping up chia puddings ahead of time when I know I’ll be in a rush. Plus they make a great egg substitute in baking.
You can enjoy chia pudding in so many ways. With granola, oats, fruit, nut butters. Chia seeds don’t have much flavour themselves so yo can really play around with your favourite flavour combinations. You can even enjoy warm chia pudding or blend chocolate chia pudding to make a healthy mousse.
You can also make chia seed water for an internal shower drink!
Today I’m keeping it simple with a basic berry chia pudding. Sweetened only with a bit of maple syrup but feel free to include the sweetener you like.
This creamy treat is full of healthy fats and is low sugar and low carb. The berries give a delicious fruity flavors and bring powerful antioxidants to this blueberry chia seed pudding.
