Today I’m sharing four favourite ways to enjoy an old classic. Each of these breakfast toast ideas only take a few minutes to prepare and can be enjoyed by the whole family. Healthy toast ideas that can be made with just a handful of ingredients.
1. Inspired Avocado Toast
We’ve all tried classic avocado toast, so how can you spice it up a bit? This variation adds a little zest and a whole lot of flavor.
Ingredients:
- mashed avocado
- sea salt flakes
- radish
- little bit of lime juice
- sprouts
- red pepper flakes
2. Almond Butter & Raspberries
Almond butter is a great alternative to peanut butter and maple syrup adds just a bit of sweetness! Topped with fruit and seeds for a fibre-filled boost!
Ingredients:

- chia seeds
3. Peanut Butter and Banana
Peanut butter and banana is such a classic combinations. We like to add fresh blueberries and shredded coconut.
Ingredients:

4. Healthy Hummus Bruschetta Toast
Ingredients:
- hummus
- cherry tomatoes
- basil
- garlic
- a bit of olive oil
5. Peach and Ricotta
Spread ricotta and top with peach slices and a drizzle of honey.
6. Cream cheese and smoked salmon
Spread cream cheese on your toasted bread slices and top with smoked salmon and black pepper.
7. Cottage Cheese and Pineapple
This makes a healthy and delicious tropical breakfast toast.
8. White Beans and Garlic
Mashed white beans, olive oil, crushed garlic, crushed red pepper
9. Pecan Pie Toast
Mix goats cheese with canned pumpkin and spread on a slice of toast. Top with pecans, maple syrup and pumpkin pie spice
10. Kiwi and Strawberry Toast
Toast a slice of bread and spread cream cheese and top with chopped kiwi and strawberries

13. Goats Cheese and Berries
Top toast with goats cheese, fresh berries and a drizzle of honey. The tangy goat cheese and sweet fresh fruits works so well together.
14. Classic PB and Jelly
Spread creamy peanut butter on your toast and top with strawberry jam
15. Hummus, Tomato, And Olives Toast
Spread your hummus onto a slice of toast, top with sliced tomato and olives.
16. Berries and Granola
Ricotta makes the perfect base for both sweet or savory toppings! Add some granola for crunch, and berries.
17. French Toast
Make this easy french toast recipe. In a shallow dish mix together one egg, 1/4 cup milk, and a pinch of cinnamon. Dip bread into the mixture on both sides then cook in a frying pan on medium heat until golden brown. Serve with maple syrup and berries
18. Chocolate and Strawberries
Spread low sugar hazelnut spread, top with sliced strawberries, and coconut flakes
19. Cucumber and Dill
Spread hummus and top with sliced cucumbers and dill
20. Tomato and Balsamic Vinegar

Spread pesto, top with sun dried tomatoes, pine nuts and parmesan for a savory breakfast toast

Spread almond butter, sliced apple and a sprinkle of cinnamon
25. Everything Bagel Toast
Add cream cheese, tomato, avocado and everything bagel seasoning for a savory breakfast toast.

Add cashew butter, sliced pear, maple syrup and cinnamon for a sweet toast breakfast idea
27. Date and Almond
Spread ricotta cheese, add sliced dates and sliced almond for a sweet toast breakfast idea
28. Mushroom and Spinach
Fry some mushrooms in a pan and add some spinach. Spread hummus on your toast and top with the spinach and mushrooms.
29. Chickpeas and green onions
Mash chickpeas onto a slice of toasted bread and top with green onions and some lemon juice
30. Mozzarella, Basil and Tomatos
Add fresh mozzarella, and chopped tomatoes to your toast and grill until the cheese has melted. Top with fresh basil.
