You need the following ingredients to make these fun halloween treats
- Coconut oil – can sub for butter
- Coconut sugar – can sub for brown sugar or white sugar
- Chia eggs – Can use normal eggs or flax eggs
- Cocoa powder
- Self raising flour – can use purpose flour but be sure to add some baking soda
- Dairy free chocolate chips
- Dairy free white chocolate
- Candy Eyes

- vanilla extract – add 1 tsp vanilla extract for extra flavor
- leftover halloween candy – cut up some leftover halloween candy and add it to the brownie batter

- Pre-heat the oven to 180C / 160 Fan / 375F and prepare a 30 x 23 cm baking tin
- Grease your baking tin use a cooking spray then line with parchment paper
- Measure out all your ingredients
- Add your dry ingredients to a large bowl and mix
- Add your wet ingredients and combine together
- Transfer the brownie batter into the prepared pan, using a rubber spatula spread the mixture gently into the corners and level the top.
- Bake in the oven for 40-45 minutes
- Leave the brownies to completely cool in the tin then cut into sqaures
Decorating Mummy Brownies
- Use a double boiler or place the white chocolate in a heatproof bowl and microwave to melt
- Transfer the melted white chocolate to a piping bag or to a plastic bag with a tiny hole cut in one corner. Drizzle the white melted chocolate diagonally to create mummy bandages.

- 275 g 1 + 1/3 cup coconut oil softened
- 375 g 1 + 1/3 cup coconut sugar
- chia eggs / normal eggs
- 75 g ½ cup cocoa powder
- 100 g ¾ cup self raising flour
- 100 g 2/3 cup dairy free chocolate chips
- 150 g dairy free white chocolate
- Candy eyes
Instructions
For the brownies
- If your using box mix jump straight to the mummy decorating steps
- Pre-heat the oven to 180C / 160 Fan / 375F and prepare a 30 x 23 cm baking tin
- Measure out the ingredients
- Add the dry ingredients into a large mixing bowl and combine
- Add the wet ingredients into the dry and mix together
- Transfer the mixture into the prepared pan, using a spatula to spread the mixture into the corners and level the top.
- Bake in the oven for 40-45 minutes.
- Once they’re cooked, leave the brownies to completely cool before cutting into squares
Decorate the brownie Halloween mummies
- Melt the White Chocolate either in the microwave or with a double boiler
- Transfer the melted chocolate to a piping bag or a plastic bag with a tiny hole cut in one corner. Drizzle diagonally across each brownie to create mummy bandages.
