One of these indulgent bars is enough to satisfy any sweet tooth. They’re so super chocolatey and packed with peanut butter that you won’t believe they’re actually healthy and completely good for you. They contain two of my favourite flavours; chocolate and peanut butter.

No Bake Peanut Butter Bars Ingredients

You just need the following 4 simple ingredients to make these peanut butter chocolate bars.

  • Natural peanut butter – can use regular peanut butter, creamy peanut butter  works best but you can use crunchy peanut butter. Almond butter, sunflower seed butter or any of your favourite nut butter will work but just know that it will change the flavor.
  • Pure Maple syrup – any liquid sweetener such as agave syrup or brown rice syrup will work
  • Oats – whole oats or quick oats work
  • Dark chocolate or chocolate chips

How to make healthy peanut butter bars with 4 ingredients

  • Prepare an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.
  • To Make the Peanut Butter layer: In a medium, microwave-safe bowl, add peanut butter and microwave for around 20 seconds, until the peanut butter is warm. Add the maple syrup and mix together
  • Add in the oats and mix until combined. Transfer this mixture into the prepared baking pan. Using a spatula, smooth into an even, tightly-packed layer.
  • Make the Vegan Chocolate layer: Melt the chocolate in the microwave or in a small saucepan on a low heat. Add the peanut butter to the melted chocolate. Stir until smooth.
  • Pour this chocolate topping over the bars and smooth into an even layer
  • Freeze for 30-40 minutes, or until firm. Remove from freezer and slice into squares. Keep refrigerated in an airtight container. They will go soft at room temperature

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup natural creamy peanut butter
  • ¼ cup tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 1 ¼ cups gluten free rolled oats

Vegan Chocolate Topping

  • ½ cup vegan dark chocolate
  • ¼ cup peanut butter

Instructions
 

  • Line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.
  • To Make the Peanut Butter Oat Bars: In a medium, microwave-safe bowl, add peanut butter and microwave for around 20 seconds, until the peanut butter is warm. Add the maple syrup and mix together
