It’s easy to get carried away with wedding planning. You’ll be excited to get hitched, and that could provoke you to pick a date that’s not too far in the future. But remember that there’ll be a lot of things to organize. The more time you have to get everything ready and prepared, the easier it’ll be. So try to stay patient and pick a date that’s a year or so down the line. This will also bring the added benefit of increasing your chances of getting your preferred venue and ensuring that as many of your invited guests can make it as possible.

Weddings have come a long way in the past 100 years. They used to be small, formal affairs; now they’re big celebrations. You can have virtually anything at your wedding these days. You don’t need to do everything by yourself. There’ll be help available, in the form of friends and family or wedding professionals. For example, you could consider hiring a wedding planner to help you. You’ll pay for it, but it’ll be worth it.

Finally, try to avoid stressing yourself out. You can overthink anything, and especially things as important as your wedding day. The best advice is to simply remember that if you plan things correctly and have a positive attitude, then your wedding day will be as joyful as you expect it to be.
