The blog post where I shared my favourite healthy sweet bagel toppings was one of my most popular! So I thought I would share a few more healthy bagel toppings that I love including some savoury bagel topping options. I have also included some high protein bagel toppings.
I love bagels as they are just so delicious, versatile and satisfying. They make the perfect little snack, breakfast, dessert or lunch. I use wholemeal gluten free bagels, but any will work.
The beauty of bagels is that they can be eaten at any time. I love that you can top with whatever you fancy or have at home and quickly have a nutritious meal.
These toppings will also taste amazing on toast, rice cake or oatcakes.

One of my favourite combinations. I use my homegrown basil and it tastes amazing! Basil is anti inflammatory and antibacterial. Whilst cherry tomatoes provide vitamin c and the hummus adds some protein.
2. Almond Butter, Pomegranate and Coconut Flakes Bagel
I wasn’t sure about combining pomegranate with almond butter but it tastes amazing! You get a protein hit from the almond butter, whilst pomegranate is high in anti oxidants, vitamin c and aids digestions.
3. Mashed Avocado Chilli Flakes and Coriander Bagel
My favourite savoury topping ever! Simple but delicious and so good for you. Avocados are high in healthy fats to keep you full and satisfied. Coriander is rich in manganese, iron and magnesium.
4. Blackberry, Coconut Yoghurt and Flaked Almonds Bagel
Love this one when I want something sweet but light. You can add a drizzle of maple syrup too! Blackberries are full of vitamins and minerals like C, K, and manganese.
